Hello and welcome to Arc Angel Defense security and family defense training center. We are a family and veteran owned and operated, San Diego based business, with over 20 years of security experience.

ArcAngelDefense provides online training courses designed to better prepare students to pass a variety of certifications related to the Security & Defense field, including the BSIS CA Guard Card, BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit, Pepper Spray Certification, BSIS Baton Certification, First Aid and CPR, and Handcuff Certification. Although we cannot guarantee passing or eligibility of certification, we do our best to support our students in being successful.

ArcAngelDefense not a hiring facility; nor can we guarantee employment However, we do offer our students general career information, and we also maintain connections with a number of security companies and partners. Therefore, should any security companies and other clients notify us of any open positions, we will do our best to forward these job opportunities to our graduates (provided they meet the job requirements).

Applicant must be 18 years old with no felony, domestic violence report, or misdemeanor on their record.

It can take between 1 and 2 months depending on an applicant's criminal history and background, which may delay the processing time.

$50 for a new Guard Card and $35 for a renewal, which must be done every 2 years (this does not include Live Scan fees). 

No. All sales are final. We will do our best to help and inform you, but you are ultimately responsible for your permits' approval or denial. Arc Angel Defense just provides the state training requirements. We have no say in the state approval process for permits. If you have any questions concerning your criminal history or background, please call or email us.

We do not keep photocopies of applications. We will assist you with filing new paperwork for a processing fee of $100 payable to Arc Angel Defense. BE RESPONSIBLE for your applications and paperwork, and do not lose them.

Yes. You will have 60 days after the expiration date, but it will cost an additional $25 on top of the $35 renewal fee. After the 60-day deadline passes, you will be required to submit a new application and repeat the New Application process.

NO. You will need to complete and submit a New Firearm Permit Application and retake the training course.
